Isaac Newton School - Grantham
Isaac Newton School - Grantham
Isaac Newton School opened in 1976 and since that time has seen many changes and improvements. The school has grown in size and now has over 300 pupils on the roll. The school buildings have also under gone major improvements with an extension and re-modelling taking place in 2006. This provided a much needed bigger hall and more teaching areas. The school caters for boys and girls from 3 - 11 years old and provides a Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception Classes), Key Stage 1 (Infant Classes) and Key Stage 2 (Junior Classes). The school grounds have seen many improvements over the last few years with recent additions being a pond area, outside classroom, planting boxes, a green greenhouse and an Anderson Shelter. The children are also encouraged to participate in planting and growing as well as maintaining bird boxes. We have no intention of federating or changing to academy status. We are a primary school, we provide a primary education on a primary site. We have one Headteacher, he is always available to talk to Parents. The school has a high ratio of staff to pupils, providing expertise in many areas to enhance the quality of learning and to provide for the children's welfare.
